The device is protected by Water-repellent coating and IP53. The display of the smartphone has IPS LCD with 6.67 inches size. The resolution of the screen is 1080 x 2400 pixels and it is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. So its not fully waterproof but it will save your phone when unnecessiarily some water goes into it or your phone gets wet ...  so u got your answer ...
